Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen A. (Hanratty) Bachnicki, 88, of Wickliffe, will be at 10 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 29840 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe. The Rev. Greg Olszewski will officiate at the Mass.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Mrs. Bachnicki passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Born June 16, 1929 in Cleveland, she has lived in Wickliffe for more than 60 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and was devoted to her family.
Survivors are her daughter, Donna (Bob) Schindler; granddaughter, Heather (Jason) Bevan; great-grandsons, Luke and Aiden and brothers, Thomas and Jack (Linda) Hanratty.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Walter J. Bachnicki on July 21, 2000. Her parents, Felix and Helen Hanratty and brothers, Jim, William and Jerry Hanratty are also deceased.
Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township, following the Mass on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to The Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Novelty, OH 44072.
