Obituary for David Alan Janda
Funeral services for David A. Janda, 73, of Concord Twp., will be at 7 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Janda passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Middlefield.
He was born June 2, 1944 in Painesville.
David was the owner of Janda’s Yard Care. He loved to fish and hunt. He was an U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Jennifer (Handley) Janda; step-daughters, Lisa (Mike) Baitt and Catherine (Richard) Holder; grandchildren, Nicole, Laura, Julia, and Michael Baitt and Jared and Jennifer Holder; adoptive brother, James (Vida) Prekler and adoptive sister, Roberta (Ron) Hopewell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Zeffie Janda and adoptive parents, George and Margaret Prekler.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060 or to a favorite charity of your choice.
Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor
