Services for Elizabeth A. (Nichols) Layman, 84, of Eastlake, will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Donald R. Perks of Willoughby United Methodist Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Layman passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016.

Born February 4, 1932 in Cleveland, she has lived in Eastlake for the past 57 years.

She was an active member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society, JFK Senior Citizens Center in Eastlake and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.

Mrs. Layman retired from the Lake County Board of Elections.

Survivors are her grandchildren, Charice Layman (Aaron White), Tyler Feth, Aubrey Feth and Jason Feth; special friends, Debra (John) Ryman and furry child, Brandy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, in 1994; her daughter, Victoria Feth and son, Charles Layman. Her parents, Jasper and Ella (Tomlinson) Nichols and brother, Edward Nichols are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the service on Tuesday.
