To Al's Family - My memories of Al go way back to the early 90's. I was in charge of maintenance at Acacia Country Club. I had just taken over for my dad who had died unexpectedly. Anyway, Acacia was a very old building with a lot of plaster work. Every February, the club would close for the entire month for cleaning, repair and maintenance. Some of the plaster cornices needed to be fixed and I had no idea who to call as my background was in HVAC. So I looked in the Sun Messenger and found Al's ad for plaster repair. Al came and took care of everything for me from that point on. He'd always return and visit with me in the summer to bring me fresh vegetables that he had grown in his garden. I'll never forget his station wagon as long as I live; it was a classic to say the least! Anyone who knew Al was better off for it. He was truely a wonderfull individual. My deepest sympathies to all of Al's family and friends. Chris Ricchiuto, Lyndhurst, Ohio
