Memorial services for Charlene Louise Ditter age 89 of Willoughby will be 11 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby, 4785 Shankland Road, Willoughby.
Mrs. Ditter passed away January 29, 2017 at Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby. She was born June 25, 1927 in Lakewood, Ohio.
Charlene was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby. Her love of nature, the ocean, birds, and other wonders of the natural universe was surpassed only by her love of people. She experienced great joy in helping others. She was a proud homemaker and mother to many.
Survivors include her children Karen Shank, Robert (Alphonse Litz) Ditter, Jennifer (Jeff) Williams, and Susana Ditter; grandchildren Rebecca Caulfield and Catherine (Marcus) Reish; great-grandson Owen Reish.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert L. Ditter; daughter Debra Ditter.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Holden Arboretum, 9500 Sperry Road, Kirtland, OH 44094 or to First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby.
