Obituary for Thomas G. "Tommy" Stephenson

Services for Thomas G. Stephenson, 53, of Fairport Harbor, formerly of Burbank, CA, will be at 5 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Kirtland Bethel Bible Church, 10172 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland. Pastor Joel Potter will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 1-5 PM on Saturday, prior to the service, at the Church.

Tommy passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Mentor, surrounded by his mom and children.

Born September 8, 1963 in Cleveland, he had lived in Burbank, CA for 28 years, and returned to Lake County almost two years ago.

.He graduated from Mentor High School, class of 1981, and was a member of the California Browns Backers Club.

Tommy traveled all around the world in his career, designing and selling theatrical lighting for rock-n-roll productions.

Survivors are his children, Christian and Megan Stephenson; mother, Carol Stephenson; sisters, Laura Gerhardt and Sue Stephenson; nephews, Nicholas Gerhardt and Christopher Meyer and niece, Stephanie Meyer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Stephenson.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
