A memorial gathering will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby where the family will receive friends 5-7 PM.
H.C. passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his home in Willoughby.

He was born August 8, 1943 in Banner Elk, North Carolina to the late Heirl H. Julian and Charlcie Julian-Ollis.

H.C. proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He later worked as Maintenance Supervisor at General Electric for 35 years before retiring in 2001.

H.C. loved spending time fishing on Lake Erie and often gave away his catch of the day to neighbors or friends to enjoy. During his younger, H.C. played the guitar, keyboard and harmonica for a local band. Mostly, he will be celebrated for his loving heart and prankster sense of humor.

H.C. will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Clinda Heth-Julian; daughters, Charlcie Galasson and Melissa Julian; stepfather, Warren G. Ollis (Sally); sisters, Lahoma Rohrer (Doug) and Lavada McClellan (Wayne); brother, Russell Ollis (Laurel); stepchildren, Cheryl Heth, Kelly Richards (Mike), Michael Simmons (Bonnie), and Steven Simmons; grandchildren, Jacob, Tia, Drake, and Heath; many other relatives and extended family.
