Services for Dorothy Jean (nee: House) (Grover) Bathurst, 91, of Willoughby Hills, will be at 11 AM on Friday, March 30, 2018 at The First Baptist Church of Willowick, 31433 Vine Street, Willowick. The Rev. Robert P. Mieden will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, prior to the service, at the Church.

Mrs. Bathurst passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Born March 24, 1927 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Lake County resident.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Willowick, where she taught Sunday school and participated in many Church activities and Bible studies.

Mrs. Bathurst was employed as a nurses’ aide at the Lake West Medical Center before her retirement.

Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Ray Bathurst; children, Nancy (Bob) Crouthamel, Beverly (Jonathan) Tripp, Craig (Marilyn) Bathurst, Keely-Ann Bathurst and Steven (Fannie) Bathurst; brother, Harvey House, Jr. and sister, Norma (John) Ducsay. She also leaves many cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nelson B. Grover, Sr. and her children, Nelson, Jr., Sheldon, Robert and Rick Grover; Mary Naff, Sara Cook and Louise Walker. Her parents, Harvey Sr. and Mary (Finnell) House and brothers, Robert and Miley House are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in a private family service.
