Services for Robert T. Davis, Sr., 96, of Kirtland, will be at 11 AM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Kirtland Christian Fellowship, 10001 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland. Pastor Tim French will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. Davis passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby.

Born April 25, 1921 in Columbus, he has lived in Kirtland for the past 63 years.

He was a World War II United States Navy veteran and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3325 in Kirtland. He was also a member of Kirtland Christian Fellowship and a HAM radio operator, call sign KD8VA.

Mr. Davis was the self-employed owner of Davis Company Music Service for 40 years. He serviced organs throughout the region and was also a member of the National Theatre Organ Association. For the past 22 years, he helped hundreds of people through his alternative cancer treatment research.

Survivors are his children, Robert T. Davis, Jr., Doris (James) Benins, Gail (Anthony) Mangeri and Patricia (Charles) La Nasa; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Ruth Davis and many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Helen Elaine (Palmer) Davis on June 5, 2014. His parents, Ellis Gary and Jeanette (Holcomb) Davis, brothers, Martin and Gary Davis, sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Frank Garrett and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Georgiana Palmer are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in South Kirtland Cemetery following the service on Friday.
